T-BAO MN100, new compact mini PC with Intel N100 CPU

Today we find a new T-BAO MN100, one more mini PC in the long list of computers with the new Intel N100 processor.

This is a mini PC with a rather sober design that has DDR5 RAM memory at 4800 Mhz, which gives us a little extra speed for the system. This low power PC is powered by the Intel N100 quad-core processor with a TDP of 6W TPD, manufactured in 10 nm (Intel 7) and Intel HD Graphics GPU. An economical mini PC with low power consumption chip, it has enough power to use it for office tasks, browsing, multimedia playback and simple games like LoL or similar.

In the new T-BAO MN100 we find the Intel N100 processor manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four execution threads that reach up to 3.4 GHz. For the graphics section we have an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU compatible with VP9 and h.265 video codecs up to 4K@60fps. This processor and GPU is not designed for powerful 3D games, but it does allow us to use the device for other daily multimedia or office tasks smoothly.

In the RAM memory section we have 8 GB LPDDR5 at 4800 MHz that are soldered on board, and it seems that they can not be expanded. For storage, we have capacity for a 256 GB M.2 2280 SSD that we find in different capacities, we have space for another internal 2.5-inch SATA 3 unit.

Other features

For wireless connectivity includes an M.2 module with dual-band Wifi aC and Bluetooth 4.2. In the connector area we have a micro SD card reader on one side, 3 USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0, 3.5 mm audio jack, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports and HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort video outputs that allow video playback up to 4K@60fps resolution without problems.
