It seems that the powerful AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX APU is starting to have some stock, since it even appears integrated in a Chinese mini PC like the T-Bao TBOOK MN59.
This mini PC comes in an aluminium box that we have already seen on occasion, and in which its two external Wi-Fi antennas stand out. Of its configuration, the most significant element is its AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX Octa Core with 16 threads and a Vega 8 GPU, a Chip with which Windows will fly and that allows us to use any program, however demanding it may be. As for games, thanks to its iGPU we can run many in 1080p quality by adjusting the graphic quality.
In short, a powerful miniPC with a tighter price than other models with the same APU, but which is still expensive in our opinion.
Processor, RAM and storage
The T-Bao TBOOK MN59 with the powerful AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX APU manufactured in 7nm, an Octa Core with 16 threads capable of reaching 4.6 Ghz in turbo mode and with a base frequency of 3.3 Ghz. The integrated GPU is a VEGA 8 with a top speed that can reach up to 2.1 Ghz.
Inside this mini PC we have 2 SODIMM slots of DDR4 3200MHz RAM with options of 16/32 GB of RAM in Dual Channel, while for storage we find an M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD disk with a capacity to choose between 512 GB or 1 TB. We can expand the storage, since we have internal space for a 2.5-inch storage unit with SATA3 interface.
Other specs
For network connectivity we have an internal M.2 card with Wifi 6 aX with two external antennas, Bluetooth 5.2 and a Gigabit Ethernet network port. As connectors, we find 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C for data / video, 2 3.5 mm audio jack and HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 video outputs, all with video output capacity up to 4K @ 60Hz resolutions.
The operating system is Windows 10 upgradeable to Windows 11 and the power supply is external.
