We found in Chinese stores a new version of the interesting T-bao Tbook X8S Pro an economic laptop that receives a small update at CPU level that goes from a Celeron J3455 to a Pentium N4200. An update that slightly improves the performance of the laptop that keeps its price intact. This laptop is a team to consider because at the design level it includes an attractive metal body, within the Chinese standards, with a weight that is around 3.7 lbs (1.7Kg).
The rest of the configuration of this computer will allow us to use Windows 10 without problems because it has 6GB of RAM and in the graphic section a NVIDIA GeForce 920M dedicated GPU that will at least allow us to play some modern game by configuring it in low quality.
Processor, RAM and storage
The T-bao Tbook X8S Pro notebook as we have already mentioned includes the Apollo Lake Intel Pentium N4200 processor, a Quad Core manufactured in 14 nm with processors up to 2.50 GHz, an integrated Intel HD Graphics 505 GPU and a dedicated GPU NVIDIA GeForce 920M with 2 GB of memory RAM. We also have 6 GB of DDR3 RAM, 128 GB of eMMc storage memory and an SD card reader. Fortunately we have a free M.2 port where we can easily install an SSD.
Screen and other specifications
The screen is a 15.6-inch IPS panel, reduced lateral frames and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels that includes in its upper part a 0.3 MP webcam with microphone. In terms of connectivity we find a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, microHDMI video output, 3.5 mm audio jack, RJ45 10/100 network connector, WiFi aC, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 7.4V battery / 4500mAh with fast loading.
At the operating system level includes Windows 10 and the QWERTY keyboard, which includes a touchpad as usual.
