In pandemic times, video conferencing has gained points by leaps and bounds and has exhausted the webcams of major brands in most stores. Taking advantage of the sales push, some manufacturers have begun to recover some box format that includes a front camera for video conferencing, such as the new T95 C1 that includes an 8MP camera with a microphone.
This box has a support with clip to place it on top of our TV that incorporates 360° lateral rotation to be able to point the webcam to our liking. The included operating system is Android 9 and the SoC is an Octa Core, RK3368, possibly in its PRO version due to the modern version of Android that it includes. A Box that in addition to serving us for videoconferences we can also use as a mediaplayer with KODI or similar without many problems.
SoC, RAM and storage
The main element of the T95 C1 is a RK3368 SoC, possibly the PRO version, an Octa Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that reach 1.5 Ghz and which also integrates a PowerVR SGX6110 GPU with native H.265 codec decoding and VP9 among others. It also includes 2 GB of DDR3 RAM on board and has versions with 16 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can complement with the included micro SD card reader.
Other specs
The wireless connectivity of this Smart TV Box includes Bluetooth 4.2 and Dual Band Wi-Fi. In the field of connectors we have on the back two USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0 port, RJ45 10/00 network port and a 3.5 mm analogue audio and video output jack.
