New Box with S905X2 SoC from Amlogic that we found in stores, this time called T96 MAX. A box with the classic quadrangular plastic box and a small LED panel on the front for which curiously announces in its advertising a next update with Android 9.0 Pie. A pretty complete box at the connectors level and good network options level.
SoC, RAM and storage
The TV Box T96 MAX includes the S905X2 SoC, a Quad Core that reaches up to 1.8GHz and integrates a powerful GPU Mali-G31 MP2. As a novelty in video playback we have a new VPU with TruLife 8a gen engine that integrates specific hardware to encode and decode. This model includes 2/4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32/64 GB of eMMc storage memory that can be extended from the microSD card reader that includes this equipment on one side.
Other specifications
The Box T96 MAX includes at connectivity level dual band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1. The included ports are two USB 2.0 ports, another USB 3.0, analog audio and video output, a Gigabit Ethernet connector, SPDIF digital audio port and an HDMI 2.1 video output with support for Dynamic HDR and CEC.
The installed system is Android 8.1 and an IR remote control is included.
