This time we have a version of the TV-Stick T98 MINI that renews its interior with a Quad Core RK3318 SoC and its operating system with Android 10.0. A Stick limited in connectivity options but that can work perfectly with it with KODI even with video files in 4K UHD formats. As always, although it must be borne in mind that these low-priced media players do not usually receive updates.
SoC, RAM and storage
This version of the TV Stick T98 MINI integrates the Rockchip RK3318 SoC as its engine, which integrates four ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5 Ghz and a Mali-450 MP5 GPU that has native decoding of video codecs. H.265 and VP9 up to 4K @ 60fps resolutions with HDR support. This Smart TV Box integrates 2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16/32 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand thanks to the microSD card reader that we find on the side of its small plastic box.
Other specs
This dongle comes with dual-band Wi-Fi wireless connectivity with internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.2. As connectors, it includes a USB 3.0 port, two microUSB ports, one of them exclusively for power and an HDMI 2.0 video connector. Among the accessories that come with it, we find everything you need to use this TV stick from the first moment with a basic IR remote control, cables and power supply.
