TANIX TX3 now with the new Amlogic S905X3 SoC

Another TV-Box that arrives in stores equipped with the new AMlogic S905X3 SoC that still shines by its absence despite repeated announcements. A new Box that not only recycles a box that we have seen previously in other equipment but also repeats the name of Tanix TX3 for more confusion, our applause for the marketing manager of this company, great job!. As for specifications little to comment in a box that does not stand out especially in connectors or in quality of components.

SoC, RAM and storage

The TV Box Tanix TX3 includes the new AMlogic S905X3 SoC, a Quad Core manufactured in 12nm that reaches up to 1.9 GHz speed and integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. This SoC has 4 Cortex-A55 CPU cores and also an NPU for iA. The VPU is an Amlogic Video Engine 10 with Dolby Vision optional HDR, HDR10 +, HDR10, HLG and PRIME HDR support. This Smart Box is available in versions with 2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16/32/64GB of eMMc storage memory that can be expanded from the included microSD card reader.

Other specifications

This Box includes at the level of wireless connectivity Wifi Dual Band and Bluetooth for both versions with 4GB of RAM and WiFi b/g/n without Bluetooth for the model with 2GB. In the connectors included in the plastic box are a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, a 10/100 Ethernet connector, SPDIF audio output and an HDMI 2.1 video output. The operating system is Android 9.0 and a basic IR remote control is included.
