It seems that some box is coming out with the Allwinner H6 SoC, a very interesting chip in its video functions, as we found in stores the new Tanix TX6. A Box of this Chinese brand that reuses one of its boxes and that this time arrives with 4GB of RAM and an enhanced WiFi aC (WiFi 5) and 2 × 2 MIMO that will help us improve coverage and power.
The TV-Box Tanix TX6 includes SoC Allwinner H6, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that reaches up to 1.8Ghz and an ARM Mali-T720mp2 GPU capable of processing video up to 4K resolutions at 60fps and 6K at 30fps thanks to its Allwinner Phoenix 3.0 VE engine. We also have 4 GB of DDR3 RAM on the motherboard, 32 GB of eMMC storage memory that can be extended thanks to the microSD card reader that we find on one of the sides. A configuration with which we will not have problems to move apps.
This box comes with a MIMO 2 × 2 WiFi aC adapter with external antenna and Bluetooth 4.1 on board. In terms of connectivity, it includes a 10/100 network port, SPDIF digital audio output, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0, an HDMI 2.0a video output and an SPDIF audio jack.
