Today we found in the great bazaar of AliExpress a new TV-Stick to smartizar our TV, the Tanix TX9 that at least comes with a solvent Amlogic S905Y4 processor, much better than the Allwinner H313 that is usually seen in this type of mediaplayer format.
A small Stick with which thanks to its Quad Core Amlogic S905Y5 processor will move smoothly and that comes with Android TV 11 as operating system accompanied by 2 GB of RAMDDR4 and 16 GB of storage. We also have wireless Wi-Fi 5,Bluetooth 5.0, and we can also use it as a media receiver with Miracast and DLNA protocols. A small format mediaplayer suitable for use in local video playback up to 4K resolutions, as it includes native decoding of the AV1 codec, among others. For use with apps such as Netflix or HBO it is better to look for other solutions, since this stick is not certified for viewing in high image quality.
Its compact size means that its number of ports is minimal: an HDMI to connect it to the TV, an extender cable for the infrared sensor of the remote control and a USB 2.0. For power supply we have a USB-C, note that it is powered directly from the TV, it does not have a charger, but we can connect any that we have if we prefer.
