TANIX X4 arrives in stores with Android 11 and Amlogic S905X4

News is beginning to arrive in the world of TV-Boxes for the Christmas campaign, and today we come across the new TANIX X4, a media player equipped with Amlogic’s S905X4 SoC.

Few novelties for this Box that at the moment is skyrocketing in price, although it will undoubtedly go down soon and that comes to us already with Android 11 as a system. A suitable Box as a multimedia player, KODI or similar or to play games but not suitable for using paid streaming platforms, since it does not have certificates to view them in good quality.

Remember that you can read our review of the Amlogic S905X4 SoC that is capable of playing video files encoded with AV1.

TANIX X4SoC, RAM and storage

The TANIX X4 TV-Box includes the AMlogic S905X4 SoC, a Quad Core manufactured in 12nm with low-power ARM Cortex-A55 processors that theoretically reach 2 GHz speed and integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The VPU includes 4K @ 60fps, HDR, HDR10 and HLG support.

We have several versions with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, 32/64 GB of eMMc storage and a micro SD card reader.

Other specs

In the field of wireless connectivity, all its versions have Dual-band Wi-Fi aC with an internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.1. The connectors included in the plastic box are a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, SPDIF digital audio output in 3.5 mm format, Gigabit Ethernet connector and an HDMI 2.0 video output.

As usual, HDMI cable, power supply and a basic remote control are included to be able to use this Smart Box from the first moment, although we have other options with different remote controls.
