TCL has officially launched its new TCL NXTPAPER 70 5G in the Asian market, a smartphone designed to compete strongly in the entry-level segment.
This model features an elegant chassis with a matte finish, rounded corners, and a striking circular camera module that houses its rear sensors, positioning itself as a well-rounded option for users seeking next-generation connectivity with its 5G modem without breaking the bank.
As we can see, it doesn’t feature the very latest technology, but it’s certainly sufficient for many users who just want to use messaging apps, view multimedia, and browse the web.

At the heart of this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, a SoC manufactured using a 4-nm process and consisting of eight cores (2x Cortex-A78 at 2.2 GHz 6x Cortex-A55) that ensures sufficient performance for everyday tasks, multitasking, and light gaming with low battery consumption.
This chip is paired with 4 GB LPDDR5 of RAM (expandable via virtual memory) and 128 GB of UFS internal storage, expandable up to 1 TB via microSD cards.
Display, Cameras, and Other Features
It features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and the standard NXTVISION visual optimization technology. On the camera front, the device features a 50 MP main sensor powered by artificial intelligence to enhance dynamic range and low-light photography, accompanied by a 5 MP secondary sensor for depth sensing and an 32 MP front-facing camera housed in a discreet teardrop-style notch.
Power is provided by a 5,200 mAh battery that supports 33W charging via its USB-C 2.0 port. The package is rounded out with a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and Android 16 pre-installed.
