Today we find in Chinese stores a new variant of the Teclast F5 ultrabook that includes a 11.6-inch rotatable touch screen 360º. Teclast F5R is the name of this new version that at the processor level curiously takes a step back, since it replaces a Celeron N4100 with a Celeron N3450 an older and less powerful chip. The external aspect is the same as the previous model and as the only addition we see that the M.2 SSD goes from 128GB to 256GB, few changes in the Teclast F5R surely bound by the shortage of Intel chips.
Processor, RAM and storage
Teclast F5R includes an Intel Celeron N3450 processor, a chip manufactured in 14nm that includes 4 processors capable of reaching the maximum speed of 2.20 GHz and that incorporates an Intel UHD Graphics 500 GPU with 12EU. We also have 8 GB of RAM of DDR4 type and a 256 GB M.2 SSD that we can replace with a higher capacity one when we want and a microSD card reader.
Screen and other specifications
The screen of the Teclast F5R is an IPS OGS touch with narrow frames and 11.6 inches with resolution FHD of 1920 x 1080 pixels that includes in its upper part a 1MP webcam with microphone. We also have WiFi dual band WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2 and a 33.8Wh battery with fast charge that can last up to 9h in optimal conditions. As for connectors we have a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and a microHDMI video output.
