Today we receive news of a new light laptop called Teclast F7 Plus, an ultrabook with a design similar to the Chuwi Lapbook SE in which highlights its metal chassis with reduced frames and has specifications similar to the Teclast F5 but with larger screen. Undoubtedly a very interesting model, but we will wait for till have it available because Intel currently has supply problems in the Gemini Lake processors and also models with 8GB of RAM have to deal with Microsoft’s permissions to get Windows Home licenses.
Processor, RAM and storage
Teclast F7 Plus integrates an Intel Celeron N4100 processor, a chip manufactured in 14nm that includes 4 processors capable of reaching the 2.40 GHz maximum speed and that incorporates an Intel UHD Graphics 600 with 12EU GPU that is capable of playing video up to resolution 4K @ 60fps in h.265 HDR format, has 8 GB of DDR3 RAM and a M.2 SSD with 128 GB.
Screen and other specifications
The 14″ IPS screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution with rounded edges 2.5D that will integrate a front camera with only 2 MP, will have the classic Wifi aC and Bluetooth 4.2 adapter. We have two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI video output, audio jack, power connector and will mount a battery with autonomy of about 8 hours.
It has a keyboard in English that as we see takes full advantage of the entire front area, has backlighting and a space between keys seems generous. This laptop made of aluminum has a large trackpad and has a thickness of only 7mm.
Price and availability
- The Teclast F7 Plus for now has no date of departure, the price will be around $300 (265€) output.
