TECLAST M50 an economical tablet with Android 13 arrives in stores

The new TECLAST M50 is now available for sale, a budget tablet that comes with Android 13 as its operating system.

This Teclast tablet has a 10.1-inch screen, a nice metal body and Widevine L1 certification that allows streaming playback in HD quality on payment platforms such as Netflix, Disney … A multipurpose tablet that carries inside an Octa Core Unisoc T606 processor with a score of almost 160,00 points in Antutu, so it is on par with the Mediatek Helio P65 and close to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660.

The weakest point of the TECLAST M50 is its screen resolution, as it is an HD, which falls short in today’s day and age, where most tablets have an FHD panel.

Inside the TECLAST M50 we find as engine an Unisoc T606 processor manufactured in 12nm FinFET. This chip is an Octa Core with 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 1.6 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.6 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that reaches 650 Mhz. A processor with a power to move apps without problems and games at medium or low level.

We have 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM on the motherboard, expandable up to 12 GB with the storage memory. The internal storage is 128 GB eMMc 5.1 that we can expand up to 1 TB thanks to the micro SD card reader found in the SIM tray.

Other notable features

The touch screen of the Teclast M50 is a 10.1-inch IPS with TDDI technology, with an HD resolution of 1280×800 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. At the top of the screen we have a 5 MP camera with microphone that complements the main 13 MP rear camera with flash and a low resolution auxiliary camera, as always very basic quality cameras.

This tablet integrates a 4G-LTE Multiband modem with Dual SIM tray, Dual Band Wi-Fi aC wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, gyroscope, GPS, a 6000 mAh battery and four speakers with Momentum III system and Smart-K audio amplifier chip.

In terms of connectivity, we have a USB Type-C port for charging and data and a 3.5 mm audio jack in case we want to connect headphones.
