Teclast M50T: a budget 10.1-inch tablet with an Allwinner A537 processor and Android 16

Today on AliExpress, we have a new budget-friendly tablet, the Teclast M50T, which at least comes with a relatively modern processor—the Allwinner A537, a modest chip that outperforms the recent Allwinner A337.

This tablet, with its metal body, doesn’t particularly stand out in terms of specs, as it features a 10.1-inch In-Cell display with a modest HD resolution and the Allwinner A537 octa-core processor—which includes two ARM Cortex-A73 cores and six ARM Cortex-A53 cores, which scores around 250,000 points on AnTuTu V10. The chip is paired with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 1 TB thanks to the microSD card reader.

This tablet features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, FM radio, and a 7,000 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it includes a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, as well as an audio jack. At the top of the screen is a 5 MP camera with a microphone, which complements the 13 MP rear camera with flash; for audio, there are two speakers with a Smart-K amplifier.

The operating system is Android 16, so this tablet will have a long lifespan, even if it doesn’t receive any firmware updates.
