The new Teclast P50 has just been presented in society, an entry-level Android tablet that does not particularly stand out for its specifications.
A tablet that despite being of economic range at least includes a unibody metal body that gives it a slightly more serious appearance. As operating system we have Android 14, which guarantees a good lifespan even if we do not have updates. In addition, the Teclast P60 comes with Widevine DRM L1 that allows you to use apps from paid streaming platforms in HD quality such as Netflix.
The cutbacks in this budget tablet mainly affect the screen, as it has a resolution of only 1280 × 600 pixels. Otherwise, its processor is a Unisoc T606 that as a reference has a score of about 158,000 points in Antutu.
Teclast P50 Specifications
In the Teclast P50 tablet we find a Unisoc T606 processor manufactured in 12nm FinFET. This chip is an Octa Core with 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 1.6 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.6 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that reaches 650 Mhz. A processor with a power to run apps smoothly and games at medium or low level smoothly and that has as a reference about 220,000 points in Antutu 9.
We also have 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM expandable with 8 GB of extra virtual memory. As storage we now have 128 GB that we can expand through the micro SD card reader up to 1 TB.
Display and other notable features
We have a 10.95-inch IPS TDDI Incell touch screen with 1280 × 600 pixels resolution, 300 nits brightness and 16:10 aspect ratio. The cameras are a 5 MP front with microphone, while in the rear area we have a 13 MP main camera with autofocus, a secondary one for iA functions and integrated flash.
In the Teclast P50 tablet we also find a 4G-LTE Multiband modem with Dual SIM tray, Dual Band Wifi aC , Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, an 8000 mAh battery that theoretically lets us watch up to 11 hours of online video and two PureBox speakers with amplifier.
As connectivity we have a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for data, audio and recharging the internal battery conveniently.
Price and availability
- The new Teclast P50 tablet will soon go on sale in stores such as AliExpress, although we do not know its price.
