The Chinese brand Teclast has just presented a new line of SSD Phantom Series NP800 a new range of storage units that incorporate M.2 interface with support for NVMe 1.3 protocol. With this protocol, a reading speed of up to 2500 MBps is guaranteed 4 times more than the speed of a standard SSD, and with this protocol improvements are also made in the data erasure and integrity of the same. It seems that Chinese manufacturers will soon start this type of SSD disks in a massive way.
The Teclast Phantom Series NP800 SSDs are available in capacities of 240GB, 480GB and 960GB, the controller is a Silicon Motion SM2263XT and use NAND 3D memories that reach 1900MB / s speed in reading and 1500MB / s in continuous writing. The size of these units is 22 x 80 x 2.4mm and the interface used is a PCIe M.2 NVMe.
- The Teclast NP800 Phantom Series SSDs are currently only available in Chinese territory, although we are sure to find them in online stores such as the official Teclast on Aliexpress.
