Today, we are pleased to present the new Teclast T30 Pro tablet. An interesting improvement over the base model Teclast T30 that we saw in a Review in detail a few months ago.
This new version maintains the powerful mid-range SoC Octa Core of Mediatek Helio P70 manufactured in 12 nm. This time we have as Android 10 system and improves the amount of RAM installed reaching 6 GB. Otherwise, we have the same design and a good 10.1″ IPS OGS screen.
SoC, RAM and storage
The new Teclast T30 Pro tablet includes the Mediatek Helio P70 Octa Core SoC (MT6771T) manufactured in 12nm FinFET with 4 high performance ARM Cortex-A73 CPUs capable of reaching 2.1Ghz in one cluster and another cluster with four ARM Cortex-A53 that reach a maximum speed of 2 Ghz.
The GPU is a Mali-G72 MP3 ARM that reaches up to 900 Mhz and also has an advanced NPU for AI. The board now includes 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of eMMc 5.1 storage memory, which can be expanded to 256 GB thanks to the microSD card reader included in the SIM card tray.
Display and other specifications
The screen of the Teclast T30 Pro is a 10.1 inch IPS OGS (laminated with better visibility) with FHD resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and includes in its front a 5 MP camera and 8 MP rear and autofocus. This tablet also includes Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 8000 mAh battery, FM Radio and a 4G-LTE Dual-Volte multi-band modem.
Regarding the connectors we have a magnetic connector for a dock, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for data and power, but it does not support video output. It has a proximity and light sensor to adjust the brightness.
