We can already find the TECLAST T40S 2023 in stores, a new version of this 10.4-inch tablet that incorporates Android 12 as a system.
The TECLAST T40S 2023 is not a particularly surprising tablet and it is that inside we have an Octa Core MediaTek MT8183 processor that was launched in 2019 and is up to the UNISOC T618. Its most notable elements are its laminated IPS screen that has a 2K resolution and RAM that is 8 GB, more than enough to load a few apps in memory without problem. Regarding the rest of the specifications, nothing to highlight for a Chinese mid-range tablet that has yet to cut its price to be competitive.

The new TECLAST T40S 2023 tablet includes the efficient Octa Core MediaTek MT8183 SoC manufactured in 12 nm as its engine. A Chip that mounts inside 4 high-performance ARM Cortex-A73 processors up to 2 GHz, 4 ARM Cortex-A53 for basic tasks. In the graphic section, we have the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU that reaches up to 700 MHz speed, enough to move demanding apps and games with high 3D load.
In the RAM memory section, we have 8 GB LPDDR4X that can be expanded up to 16 GB using the storage memory. For storage we have 128 GB of internal high-speed UFS 2.1 memory that we can expand by the included micro SD card reader up to 1 TB.
Display and other features
As we can see, the screen of the TECLAST T40S 2023 has a size of 10.4 inches and its panel is laminated IPS TDDI with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels that has quite small frames. On the screen we see in the upper area a 5 MP camera with a microphone that complements the rear of also 13 MP with flash and autofocus. We also have Wi-Fi aC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0 and triple GPS to position ourselves precisely anywhere.
In terms of connectivity, we find on one side a USB Type-C port for data, recharging and also an audio jack connector. We have two speakers on the sides, and we find a 6000 mAh battery that theoretically allows us to watch up to 7 hours of movies with brightness at medium level.
We have the Android 12 operating system with a very light layer of customization by the brand. The weight of this tablet is only 475 g and its maximum thickness is 8 mm.
