It has just been presented in China the new Teclast T50 Plus, a new tablet of the T50 series of this brand that surprises by using a UNISOC T620 chip.
The new UNISOC T620 is basically a UNISOC T616 with clock improvements in its ARM Cortex-A75 cores and GPU, something that we will surely notice basically when using games. The rest of the specifications include an 11-inch screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and an aluminium body weighing 520 grams and a thickness of 7.8 mm.
The operating system is Android 14, and we have the Widevine L1 certificate, so we can see the main paid streaming apps in 1080p video quality, such as Netflix.
Teclast T50 Plus Tablet Specifications
The new Teclast T50 Plus tablet is powered by a 12 nm UNISOC T620 processor. This chip is an Octa Core that includes 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.2 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that reaches 850 Mhz. Enough for simple games and also for demanding games in medium quality.
Soldered on the board, we find 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM that can be expanded with 10 GB extra virtually using the storage memory. For storage, we have 256 GB of eMMc memory that we can expand by the micro SD card reader up to 1 TB additional.
Display and other notable features
This tablet has an 11-inch IPS TDDI touchscreen with reduced bezels, a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, 400 nits brightness and 90 Hz refresh. On the top frame of the display, we have an 8 MP camera with microphone that complements the 13 MP rear with integrated LED flash.
This tablet has Wi-Fi aC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, 4G-LTe modem with Dual SIM, GPS and an 8000 mAh battery that theoretically lets us watch almost up to 8.5 hours of video. In terms of connectivity, we have a USB Type-C OTG port and a 3.5 mm audio jack in case we want to connect headphones. For sound, we have 2 speakers with Smart-K amplifier.
