The new mid-range TECNO MEGAPAD Pro tablet has just been launched with a good-sized 12.1-inch screen, but we are unlikely to see it in the West.
Its good size and mid-range screen in terms of performance has a 2K resolution and is compatible with Stylus (MEGA Pencil) to take freehand notes or draw. This tablet includes an Octa Core MediaTek Helio G100 processor, a small evolution of the popular Mediatek Helio G99 SoC that allows us to move with solvency to the system and all kinds of Apps.
The operating system of the TECNO MEGAPAD Pro is Android 15 and includes a chatbot assistant from iA “ELLA” that we can access quickly through a dedicated button on one side of the tablet and that among other functions has simultaneous audio translation in real time. Perhaps this is the only feature worth highlighting in this tablet.

Inside this new tablet we have a MediaTek Helio G100 processor, an Octa Core manufactured in 6 nm by TSMC. An SoC with two clusters, the most powerful with 2 ARM Cortex-A76 processors that reach 2.2 Ghz and the most efficient with 6 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 2.0 Ghz. The iGPU is an Arm Mali-G57 MC2.
For RAM we have 4/8 GB which allows us to load multiple apps or browsing tabs. For storage, we have 128/256 GB that can be expanded with up to 2 TB extra thanks to its micro SD card reader.
Screen, cameras and other features
As a screen we have a 12-inch IPS panel, with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels, refresh rate of 90 Hz and an average brightness of 450 nits. In the photographic section, we have a front camera with 5 MP sensor and a 13 MP rear camera.
It has wireless connectivity, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G-Lte modem with Dual SIM. As a connector we have a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port, while the installed battery is 10,000 mAh with fast charging 33 W. In this tablet we have integrated 4 Dolby Atmos compatible speakers with which we will have a pretty decent sound. Finally, mention that it has a thickness of 6.9 mm and a weight of 547 grams.
