Today we find a new budget 4G terminal that surprises us with the inclusion of a MediaTek Helio G50 SoC, the TECNO SPARK Go 1S.
A new Smartphone in which highlights its cheap range processor MediaTek Helio G50 that we had not seen so far and that as you can see by its nomenclature will have a basic performance, since it arrives with Arm Cortex-A53 processors. Highlights in this terminal its screen, which has a refresh rate that reaches 120 Hz and its body that comes with IP54 resistance certification, two details that are not bad for a terminal that will not reach the 100 € cost.
As a system we have Android 14 Go, a version of this operating system designed for smartphones with an underpowered hardware as we have in this case.
TECNO SPARK Go 1S Specifications
This new terminal includes as engine with a MediaTek Helio G50 SoC, manufactured in 12nm. This is an Octa Core chip with 8 Arm Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 2.2 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU with a maximum frequency of 680 Hz.
As for RAM we have 3 GB LPDDR4X on board and for storage we have 64 GB eMMC 5.1, with option to expand it up to 1 TB with the micro SD card reader.
Display and other features
The screen of this terminal is a 6.67-inch IPS with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate that reaches 120 Hz. As for cameras we have an 8 MP front with microphone and on the back we find the main 13 MP with another auxiliary lens in a circular module.
We also have Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity, GPS and a 4G-Lte modem with Dual SIM. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh that includes fast charging up to 15 W and for connectivity we have USB-C 2.0 connector and a 3.5 mm audio jack in case we want to connect headphones. Finally, there are two DTS-compatible speakers and a fingerprint reader integrated in the power button.
