The new TECNO SPARK Slim has just been announced, a smartphone with a thickness of only 5.93 mm that makes it one of the best 4G terminals in this aspect.
This is a new economic mid-range that comes with an IP64 certified body and a good AMOLED screen of 6.78 inches. In charge of driving this TECNO is an Octa Core Mediatek Helio G200 processor, basically a Mediatek Helio G200, with a 10% faster iGPU and some more internal improvement that does not influence its final performance.
A fairly complete terminal in its category, as it includes NFC, FM Radio, infrared emitter in case we want to use it as a remote control and reverse charging, quite complete as you see in the absence of 5G connectivity. As an operating system it has Android 15 with the HiOS 15 layer that integrates different tools supported by artificial intelligence in its TECNO AI suite.

To move this terminal we have the new SoC MediaTek Helio G200 is an Octa Core manufactured in 6 nm by TSMC. Inside we have two clusters, the most powerful with 2 ARM Cortex-A76 processors that reach 2.2 Ghz and the most efficient with 6 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 2.0 Ghz. The GPU is an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 that now reaches 1.1 Ghz and has support for displays up to 2520 x 1080 pixels at 120 Hz.
For RAM we have 8 GB LPDDR4X that allows us to load multiple apps or navigation tabs, with virtual memory we reach 16 GB. For storage we have a version with 256 GB UFS 2.2 expandable by micro SD card with up to 2 TB extra.
Display, cameras and other features
As a screen we see a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel, with a resolution 2720×1440 pixels, 144 Hz refresh, a peak brightness of 4500 nits and which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i glass. In the photographic section we have a front camera with 13 MP sensor and a 50 MP rear camera with dual flash.
It has wireless connectivity, Wifi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, quad GPS, infrared sensor, FM Radio, NFC and a 4G-LTe modem with Dual SIM. For connectivity we find a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port and a 5160 mAh battery with fast and intelligent charging of 45 W and 10 W reverse. In this terminal we have integrated 2 speakers with Dolby Atmos certification.
Price and availability
- The new TECNO SPARK Slim smartphone will go on sale before the end of the year worldwide although its price is currently unknown.
