THL Super Box a new model with SATA disk bay and Octa SoC

THL Super Box is the name of a new TV-Box that comes to the market with an internal bay for 2.5″ SATA hard drives, a not very widespread option that many users appreciate, even more when we can even use it as a conventional portable hard drive connecting it to our PC. Also inside the disc we can store a large amount of multimedia files that can be accessed remotely through a control app that we can install on our mobile phone, this device also has the curious option of connecting it to a powerbank to feed it and make it completely autonomous.

SoC, RAM and storage

The THL Super Box model includes the powerful Octa Core S912 SoC from Amlogic that integrates 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-T820MP3 GPU with support for 4K@60fps video decoding with HDR information among others. This TV-Box integrates 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 GB of eMMc storage memory on its motherboard. A more than enough configuration to be able to execute any 3D game like the demanding PUBG.

Other features

In the section of wireless connectivity this TV-Box integrates WiFi ac of Dual Band with internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.0. At the level of ports on the sides of the box we have two USB ports, network connector, HDMI 2.0 video output and a microUSB connector that as we say allows us to use it with a Powerbank to power it, on one side we have the removable bay to mount a 2.5″ disk up to 7 mm of thikness.

The operating system is Android 6.0 and we have a disk management app remotely.
