Today we have a new version of the ThundeRobot ZERO laptop this time with AMD processors instead of Intel as we saw a few days ago. It keeps the same 16-inch display and its powerful NVIDIA RTX 3060 or 3070 dedicated GPU.
The configuration of the ThundeRobot ZERO in this version now includes a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor to which accompanies a screen with 2.5K resolution with 100% sRGB, with 165 Mhz refresh. As it could not be otherwise to complete the most Gamer aspect this time we have an NVIDIA RTX 3070 GPU in the orange version and a RTX 3060 in the black version, graphics capable of moving 2.5K games at maximum quality and thus take advantage of the screen of this laptop.
This laptop available in black and orange stands out undoubtedly for its design, it also has a multicolor RGB backlit keyboard with adjustable brightness, typical of this brand specialized in Gamers laptops.
Processor, RAM and storage
This new ThundeRobot ZERO includes an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, an Octa Core manufactured in 7nm with 16 threads capable of reaching 4.4 Ghz that has a Radeon RX Vega 8 GPU. The dedicated graphics depending on the version is an NVIDIA RTX 3060 or 3070 manufactured in 8nm with 6/8 GB of SAMSUNG GDDR6 RAM and everything is cooled with a pair of fans supported by a system of Heat Pipes.
The RAM memory that we find pre-installed for now is 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz while for storage we have a 512 GB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, we have another bay free to install a second SSD M.2 NVMe and another SATA3.
Display and other specifications
The ThundeRobot ZERO‘s screen is a 16-inch IPS display with a 2.5K resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 165 Mhz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, 1200:1 contrast and a 1 MP webcam with microphone on top. For network connectivity we have Wifi 6, Bluetooth, 5.0 and a Gigabit network port on the back of the laptop. The rest of the included connectors are three USB 3.1 Gen1, a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 / DP 1.3, 3.5 mm audio jack, a mini DisplayPort 1.4 and a HDMI 2.0.
The operating system is Windows 10 Pro and a 63 Wh battery that can give us an autonomy of about 8 hours, that if we get to play a powerful title will not last long.
