A portable console with Android has just been presented in China under the name of TJD T80 and that surprises with its 8-inch screen.
The 8-inch screen with 2K resolution and 4:3 ratio that will delight lovers of many retro games that have this format. As a motor, we find a Rockchip RK3588S processor, a SoC that has had a fairly restricted use and that we have only seen in development boards and in a TV-box model. The operating system will be Android 13 with access to the Google application store.
The design reminds us of a JXD released years ago, naturally its weight rises to 620 grams and its measurements are 272.5 × 144.5 × 58 mm thanks to its screen.
TJD T80 Specifications
In the TJD T80 we have the Rockchip RK3588S processor manufactured in 8nm as the engine. A chip that integrates 4 ARM Cortex-A76 cores capable of reaching 2.4 GHz + another 4 ARM Cortex-A55 CPUs that reach up to 1.8 GHz. In the graphics section, we have a powerful ARM Mali-G610MC4 GPU.
This console includes 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and for storage includes 256 GB of eMMc memory.
Display and other features
The screen of the TJD T80 is an 8-inch IPS touch screen with a resolution of 2048 × 1536 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio. We will also have Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, 5 MP front camera and 13 MP rear camera.
In terms of controls, we have a configuration with two analogue sticks, a crosshead, four buttons, four triggers and various function keys. The connectors we find are two USB Type-C ports, micro HDMI video output, 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB-A for power. This console also has vibration in compatible titles, two 2W BOX speakers and an internal 10000 mAh battery.
Price and availability
