Introducing the Topton D12 Ultra mini PC, a mini PC that surprises us with the wide range of processors it supports in the same case design.
The small Topton D12 Ultra is notable for the number of processors it offers on the same board. It comes with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, Ryzen AI 5 340, Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360, Ryzen 7 H 255, Ryzen 9 8945HS, Ryzen 9 7940HS, Ryzen 7 7840HS, and Ryzen 9 6900HX. As you can see, we have something for all tastes and budgets. It’s important to take a close look because some offer more computing power, others have a better integrated GPU, and they also vary greatly in terms of maximum power consumption.
As an added bonus, it has an OCulink port on the front with speeds of up to 64 Gbps and support for connecting an external GPU, improving USB4 performance.
Topton D12 Ultra Specifications
The most powerful option is the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor manufactured by TSMC in 4nm. A chip with 12 cores, 4 powerful Zen 5 and another 8 low-power Zen 5C, handling 16 threads and reaching up to 5.1 GHz, with an AI core of up to 80 TOPS for assistance. As a graphics engine, we have an integrated Radeon 890M GPU with new generation RDNA 3.5 technology, featuring 16 CUs and reaching up to 2900 MHz. This processor allows you to run any demanding design app and play many AAA titles.
In terms of RAM, we have options of 8/16/32 GB DDR5 5600 MHz in Dual Channel, which are expandable. For storage, we have the option of dual SSD M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe x4 with a size of up to 8 TB.
Other notable features
In terms of wireless connectivity, we have Wi-Fi 6Eand Bluetooth 5.3. The box includes a 3.5 mm audio jack, three USB-A 3.2 ports, one USB-A 2.0 port, and one OCulink port. We also have one USB4 (full) port and two 2.5 GB high-speed Ethernet network connectors. HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 video outputs with 8K@60 HDR support give us the ability to connect up to three simultaneous displays, including the additional USB4 port.
This non-barebone version of the computer includes Windows 11 Pro, but it is also compatible with Linux distributions. A machine that can be mounted on a monitor with its VESA mount.
