The success of the TRIMUI SMART PRO retro console has led to the arrival of the TRIMUI BRICK, which debuts the Game Boy-style vertical format and a high-resolution screen.
This is an emulation console to carry in your pocket thanks to an elaborate design that has given it very compact dimensions. The screen is also well cared for, as it is a 3.2 inch with a 3:2 ratio and a high resolution of 1024×768 pixels. Its engine is the same that we have in the Trimui Smart Pro, an Allwinner A133 Plus, so it is to be expected that we have a fairly consistent operating system that will benefit from the development of the Smart Pro.
On the body of this new TRIMUI shines the presence of decoration with RGB LEDS, by the fact that we have them present both on the back and on buttons on the front and side. The operating system is based on Linux and a special version of Surwish CrossMix OS is expected at the end of October .
TRIMUI BRICK Specifications
The small retro console TRIMUI BRICK includes as its backbone an Allwinner A133 plus SoC. A Quad Core chip made with 4 ARM Cortex-53 processors capable of reaching a speed of 1.8 GHz with aPowerVR GE8300 GPU that reaches 850Mhz.
The RAM memory is 1 GB LPDDR4x and for storage we find 8 GB eMMC. We also have a slot for micro SD cards up to 256 GB where we can store games and wireless connectivity Wifi b/g/n with Bluetooth 4.1.
Display and other features
The screen of the TRIMUI BRICK is a 3.2 inch IPS with 4:3 aspect ratio and a high resolution of 1024×768 pixels. As for controls, we have a configuration with a crosshead, four buttons, four triggers, start, select, reset and function key. The connectors we found are a USB Type-C OTG and 3.5 mm audio jack.
This small console has two 1W speakers, microphone, vibration motor and an internal 3000 mAh battery that provides up to 5 hours of autonomy with a charging time of 2.5 hours. The measurements are 109.9 x 73.2 x 19.9 mm, which makes it very compact within its screen size.
