We found on AliExpress another small box with Android ultra cheap range called TV98 ATV mini, recommended for use on TVs and monitors with Full HD resolution.
Inside we find the low-end processor Rockchip RK3518, a trimmed version of the Rockchip RK3528, a SoC that is already quite basic, so the RK3518 is not a highly recommended option if you are a little demanding. As usual, we have censored the Netflix and Disney logos on the remote, since this is a box without certificates and not authorized, if we want to have good quality in paid streaming services you have to go to other certified solutions.
Its operating system is Android TV 14 with AirPlay and Miracast compatibility to broadcast content wirelessly from any compatible mobile or tablet.
TV98 ATV mini Specifications
This small Android TV-Box includes a simple Rockchip RK3518 processor. This Chip is a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a modest ARM MALI-450 MP2 GPU of which we don’t know its clock speed.
For RAM, we have versions with 2/4 GB DDR3 and for storage we can choose between versions with 16/32 GB eMMc. We also have a micro SD card reader on one side from where we can expand the storage memory up to 256 GB extra.
Other notable features
In the field of wireless connectivity, we have this time Wi-Fi 6 with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. As connectors we find in its small plastic box we find a USB 3.0 port, RJ45 10/100 network connector and an HDMI 2.0 video output port that allows us to output 4K@60fps resolutions.
Delivered with the TV98 ATV mini a compact remote control with infrared microphone, power supply and HDMI cable to start using this Box just by taking it out of the box and connecting it to our TV.
