New Chinese TV-Box based on Android 7.0.1 called TX1 that we fit within the lower range both for its price, $25, and its hardware based on the SoC quad Core Allwinner H3. A box with only 1GB of RAM with which we will be limited to use it as a mediaplayer, for which it is optimized and little else. Nor should we expect too much at the support level, which is normal in the Boxes of this price.
SoC and memories
The Box TX1 as we discussed includes the Allwinner H3 SoC with four CPU cores ARM Cortex-A7 and a Mali-400MP2 GPU that has native decoding of h.265 and VP9 codecs by hardware. It also includes 1GB of DDR3L RAM and 8GB of storage memory that we can expand thanks to the microSD card reader that we find on box the side.
Other specifications
At the level of wireless connectivity we have b/g/n WiFi and the interfaces available on the sides of the plastic box are 2 USB 2.0 ports, a 10/100 network port, analog audio and video outputs, SPDIF digital audio port and an HDMI 2.0a video output that allows 4K @ 60fps resolutions with support for HDR.
