We have already announced the first Android TV-Box equipped with the expected powerful Amlogic S905X5 processor, the new Ugoos AM9.
A TV-Box that we expect to hit the market very soon and that will give the starting signal for this new Amlogic SoC that promises to improve the recent S905X5M, as it includes new ARM Cortex-A510 processors and an ARM Mali-G310 V2 iGPU that includes support for hardware decoding of AV1 and H.266. We also have integrated a small NPU that will support work with iA algorithms that never hurts. In this Box we will not have certificates to view video from paid streaming platforms such as Netflix, we will have to wait for this chip to come out devices from reputable companies.
The operating system is Android 14 in 64bit version with many extra configurations of audio, video, Superuser function as we are used to this brand.
Ugoos AM9 Specifications
Inside this new Android Box we find the Quad Core Amlogic S905X5 processor, manufactured in 6 nm. It integrates ARM Cortex-A510 processors and a new ARM Mali-G310 V2 iGPU. We have support for native decoding of H.265, AVS2, VP9, AV1 and H266 codecs with resolutions up to 4K@75fps 10 bit.
We have a single version of this Box with 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64 GB of eMMc 5.0 storage in its output version. If we want to expand the memory we will have to use the micro SD card reader.

In the wireless connectivity section, the Ugoos AM9 includes Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. The connectors included in the plastic box are 3 USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, SPDIF digital audio output, Gigabit Ethernet connector and an HDMI 2.1b video output with 4K@75 HDR resolution. We also have Chromecast to stream content from our mobile.
