Ugoos SK2 new Box certified with Realtek RTD1325 and AFR

The new Ugoos SK2 certified Android Box is now available for sale, which this time includes the Realtek RTD1325 processor, with good features for video playback.

A Box that stands out for its support for technologies such as DTS, Dolby Audio, Dolby Video, AV1 and AFR. The latter automatically adjusts the refresh rate of our TV to the characteristics of the video we are playing. It’s Realtek SoC we saw it in review, in case you want more details and as it is known it includes video rescaling improvements with AISR and APQ algorithms. As this is a certified Android Box, it includes for its use a Bluetooth remote control with different direct access keys to streaming apps and microphone.

The operating system of the Ugoos SK2 is Google TV 12 with integrated Chromecast, full access to the Google app store and the ability to play up to 4K quality video in paid streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime Video and others.

Inside this new Ugoos Android Box we have as engine a Realtek RTD1325 processor. This is a Quad Core chip with Arm Cortex-A55 processors capable of reaching 1.7 Ghz and an Arm Mali-G57 MC1 iGPU. Its VPU includes AV1, Dolby Vision and HDR10 video decoding.

We have only a single version with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM soldered on board and 32 GB of eMMc 5.1 storage that we can always expand through a HUB.

Other features

On the wireless connectivity front, this new Android Box features Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The included connectors are a USB 2.0 port, a USB-C, RJ45 10/100 network connector, SPDIF digital audio output and an HDMI 2.1b video interface that can output video up to 8K resolutions.

As usual, HDMI cable, power supply and a remote control with microphone are included to be able to use this Android Box from the first moment.
