New Box with the new Amlogic S905X4 SoC that we found in Chinese stores with the name of UGOOS X4 PRO and that comes in a small box that we have already seen before.
The UGOOS X4 PRO is a box that already comes with Android 11 as a system and a fairly complete hardware for its size. We assume that like other Smart Boxes of this brand it will include some software improvements such as #root selector, gamepad assistant, AFR, SAMBA server and Android bars among others. Improvements that if they come are always welcome although remember that it does NOT have certificates to see in maximum quality streaming services.
SoC, RAM and storage
The UGOOS X4 PRO Smart Box includes the AMlogic S905X4 SoC, a Quad Core manufactured in 12 nm with low-power ARM Cortex-A55 processors that theoretically reach 2 GHz speed and integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The VPU includes 4K@60fps, HDR, HDR10 and HLG support.
We have different versions with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32 GB of eMMc storage and a micro SD card reader.
Other specifications
In the field of wireless connectivity all its versions have Wifi aC with an external antenna and Bluetooth 4.0. The connectors included in the plastic box are a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, analog AV jack, IR sensor extension connector, SPDIF digital audio output, Gigabit Ethernet and an HDMI 2.0 video output.
As usual, HDMI cable, power supply with USB Type-C connector and a basic remote control are included to be able to use this Smart Box from the first moment, although we have other options with different remote controls.
