To get the most out of this soundbar, we recommend connecting it to your TV using the eARC port, which has a bandwidth of 37 Mbps, significantly higher than conventional HDMI or classic SPDIF. We recommend consulting your TV manual to locate this connector.

Sound

The new ULTIMEA Skywave F30 Boom offers good overall sound definition, given its specifications. The subwoofer box provides very interesting depth. We tested it in different areas such as cinema with Dolby Atmos, music, dialogue, and games with the default equalization profiles, and the results were positive. The BassMX processors for boosting bass and VoiceMX for dialogue are interesting options that we can try out and evaluate according to our tastes.

Along with this soundbar, we have an IR remote control. Fortunately, you don’t have to point it very precisely at the bar for it to respond. The remote control manages all the specific functions perfectly. But we can use our TV remote control to turn the volume up or down, as the system is compatible with HDMI CEC.

This soundbar can also be managed using the ULTIMEA app. This is a fairly simple application that allows us to change the equalization system and manage the connection.

Conclusions and purchase link

Opinion

The ULTIMEA Skywave F30 Boom soundbar performs quite well, offering deep audio for the price. The system theoretically has a power output of 320W, but it is best to use it at 50% in a medium-sized living room. The subwoofer enclosure delivers good bass performance. It is compatible with Dolby Atmos and offers interesting EQ modes, as well as the rather impressive BassMXand VoiceMX processing.

The ULTIMEA Skywave F30 Boom offers extensive connectivity options thanks to its ports, including an HDMI eARC CEC connector and the ability to use it as a Bluetooth speaker. The included remote control is IR only, but it works well, and you can always use its own control app.

After testing the ULTIMEA Skywave F30 Boom soundbar, we can say that it offers deep sound and many EQ options. A good solution for improving the default audio of our TV.
