UNISOC T619, new SoC for the economic range

We already have the specifications of the new UNISOC T619, a chip that aims at the economic range of smartphones and tablets.

The UNISOC T619 is the direct heir of the well-known UNISOC T618, widely distributed in tablets and smartphones with a price of around €100. The UNISOC T619 represents a small evolution from the T618, as we have improvements in processor clock and a new and more efficient ARM Mali-G57 MP1 iGPU. The global improvement will be around 10%, so it seems difficult for it to be noticed in real use, although any improvement is always interesting, especially if it maintains its price.

For connectivity with telephone networks, the 4G-Lte modem is maintained, something logical in a SoC that competes on price and is intended for cheap terminals, many of which will end up operating in countries without operational 5G networks.
