UNISOC T8300, a new Octa Core 5G NR NTN economy chip

Officially launched just a few days ago, the new UNISOC T8300, an affordable Smartphone Chip with 5G NR NTN connectivity that even allows low speed satellite communications.

This chip is an Octa Core manufactured in 6nm with a performance that according to the brand would reach a score of 510,000 points in AnTuTu v10 thanks to its 2 ARM Cortex-A78 processors. A SoC that would have its approximate equivalent in the Mediatek Dimensity 900.

The output operating system for this new processor is Android 15 and includes the UNISOC Miracle Gaming Engine that optimizes all aspects of the SoC hardware that are related to gaming.

This new integrated is an Octa Core manufactured in 6 nm. A chip with 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A78 processors that reach 2.2 Ghz and 6 efficient ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach up to 2.0 GHz. In the graphics section, we have integrated GPU Mali-G57 MC2 that allows us to play demanding titles with some fluidity.

The supported RAM memory is LPDDR4X and the storage is UFS 2.2. The ISP is a 7th Generation Vivimagic, a Quad Core capable of managing cameras up to 108 MP with background noise reduction in low light situations and improve the image thanks to its new algorithms. We have support for up to FHD displays with 120 Hz refresh rate with HDR Vivid and HDR10. We also find the VideoPQ engine that dynamically adjusts video contrast, providing richer colors and sharper details and a new DSP for Hi-Fi audio, noise cancellation and enhanced spatial audio.

Availability

  • The new UNISOC T8300 will be released in the coming months in smartphones such as the Nubia Neo3 5G which will be around $200.
