Unisoc (previously called Spreadtrum) has just introduced its new mid-range Octa Core SoC Tiger T618 and Tiger T710 manufactured in 12nm. In these new SoCs, the image process is relevant thanks to a three-core ISP and improved artificial intelligence with a new NPU compared to other SoCs of this brand and that include support for the Android Neural Network API.
The new Unisoc Tiger T618 includes 2 Arm Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.0 GHz, six Arm Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz Arm Cortex-A55 and an ARM Mali-G52-MP2 GPU. It also includes support for cameras up to 48MP and has a 4G-LTE modem with support for global networks.
The Tiger T710 on the other hand is more powerful and includes 4 Arm Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.0 GHz, 4 Arm Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz Arm Cortex-A55 and an PowerVR GM9446 GPU.
- At the moment we do not have final specifications of the Unisoc Tiger T618 like the Tiger T710 so we doubt that they will reach the market before the end of 2019.
