Today we find a peculiar dock with screen and keyboard called UPERFECT UDock X, a product designed to connect our mobile and use it as a PC.
This original dock is mainly oriented to mobiles with video output, including those that support Samsung DeX or similar. The set integrates a touch monitor with FullHD resolution that has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a full keyboard and multiple ports. An interesting solution if we do not want to buy another computer and we defend ourselves with our mobile to do all the managements, watch multimedia or surf.
We can also take advantage of it to have a second screen on a PC or laptop thanks to its HDMI connection. Of course, as we will see, the price at the moment is not very competitive because we have complete laptops in the same range.
UPERFECT UDock X Specifications
This portable display has a diagonal of 15.6 inches and incorporates an IPS touch panel with an FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 100% sRGB. The panel refresh rate is 120 Hz, it has a 178º viewing angle, 800:1 contrast, 16 ms response time and a brightness of 250 cm/m2.
This dock with screen and keyboard is compatible with Samsung DeX, OnePlus, LG Screen , Huawei Dex EMUI Easy Projection, Motorola Ready…. among others. Normally, all USB-C 3.2 compatible mobiles or devices with integrated DisplayPort video output will work and can also be used wirelessly.
Connectors and keyboard
In terms of connectors, we have a miniHDMI port, two USB Type-C, one of them exclusively for power, a USB-A OTG, microSD and a 3.5 mm audio jack. We also find two 1 W and 8 ohms speakers.
The included accessories are the case, miniHDMI to HDMI cables, a USB Type-C to Type-C, another USB Type-C to USB-A and a power supply. Finally we have a generous 10800 mAh battery that will give us up to 5 hours of use and the total weight is 0.73 kg.
