Another TV-Box based on the recent Soc of Amlogic S905X2 that arrives at Chinese online stores, this time under the name of V8 Max. It is a TV-Box that under a box with new design hides the hardware configuration that we are usually seeing in this new range of Boxes that already come as standard with 4GB of RAM. This time we do not have bluetooth and we are still missing some more port under this computer that as usual works under Android 8.1.
SoC, RAM and storage
The new Wechip V8 Max includes the SoC of AMlogic S905X2, a Quad Core chip that theoretically reaches up to 2 GHz and integrates a new and powerful GPU Mali-G31 MP2, as a novelty in video playback we have a new VPU with TruLife 8th generation that integrates specific hardware to encode and decode h.265 and VP9 codecs. We have 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM memory and 32 GB of eMMc storage memory that can be extended from the microSD card reader included on this side.
The TV-Box V8 Max includes b/g/n Wi-Fi with internal antenna. The connectors included in the plastic box are quite common, a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, analog audio and video port, a 10/100 Ethernet connector, an HDMI 2.1 video output with 4K @ 60fps support with dynamic HDR with change of automatic refresh (if we have a compatible TV) and finally an SPDIF interface for digital audio.
