We found today a new passive mini PC with aluminum case, it is the Venoen P01GM. A compact system with multiple ports including a USB-C Thunderbolt 4.
This interesting passive mini PC with robust aluminum case offers us Intel Gen12 processors with low power consumption, we have versions with Intel Core i7-1255U or i5-1235U. This compact computer will present a good performance thanks to the 10 nm lithography (Intel 7). In addition, the processor in the graphics power section integrates a new generation Intel Xe GPU, with it we can run more games or 3D emulators than in previous versions of the old Intel HD Grapchics.

The most powerful version of the Intel Gen12 passive mini PC includes the Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores between 3.5 and 4.7 GHzm in the graphics section, we have a 96 EU Intel Iris Xe Graphics GPU. These Intel processors offer us a lithography of only 10 nm (Intel 7) with a consumption between 12 and 55 W TPD.
The maximum RAM memory that can be mounted is 64 GB in two SO-DIMM DDR4 3200 MHz, in the storage section we have an mSATA connector and another for NVMe 2280 drive. We also have space for a 2.5″ SATA 3 disk where we can install an extra storage unit.

In this passive mini PC we also have a mini PCI-e port where we find a WiFi 6 + Bluetooth 5.2 card with 2 connectors for external Wifi antennas, which we can mount on the back of the aluminum chassis.
In terms of connectivity we find in the box a USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port, 4 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, two RJ-45 2.5GB network connectors and a pair of 3.5mm audio jacks. We have two HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 video outputs that support up to 4K@60fps HDR video resolutions, this gives us 4 outputs counting the USB-C.
These mini PCs support Windows 11 Pro operating system without any problem, we will have to buy an OEM license to install it. It is also compatible with Linux systems. It includes VESA support and an external power charger.
