The new vivo Pad5 has just been presented, a tablet with great power and a price and technical features similar to those of the IQOO Pad5 and a little less than those of the vivo Pad5 Pro unveiled a few days ago.
A tablet that stands out in the multimedia aspect, as we have 6 speakers with panoramic audio and a large 12.1-inch screen with a resolution of 2.8K and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Inside we have a high-end SoC such as the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 accompanied by a powerful ARM Immortalis G720 iGPU that has a comfortable score of 2,300,000 points in Antutu v9.
As operating system we have Android 15 with OriginOS 5 layer that implements numerous tools powered by iA. A pity that this tablet and other technological products of this brand do not leave China.
Specifications of the vivo Pad5
The Pad5 includes a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm by TSMC. This is a chip with an ARM Cortex-X4 processor that reaches 3.4 Ghz, 3 ARM Cortex-X4 that reach 2.85 Ghz and 4 ARM Cortex-A720 that reach up to 2.0 GHz. We also find a MediaTek NPU 790 for iA work and an ARM Immortalis G720 MC12 iGPU that allows us to play demanding titles with total fluidity. A SoC that has a high Antutu v9 score of over 2,300,000 points and is cooled by a liquid system.
The RAM memory we have soldered on board is 8/12/16 GB LPDDR5X that allows us to load multiple apps or navigation tabs. For storage, we have versions with 128 / 256 / 512 GB UFS high-speed expandable by micro SD card up to 2 TB.
Display and other features
The screen of this new Vivo tablet is a 12.1″ IPS, with a resolution of 2800 x 1968 pixels, 1500:1 contrast, 900 nits brightness, 7.1:5 screen ratio and a configurable refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. In the photographic section in the rear area we have an 8 MP camera, while in the front area we have a 5 MP camera.
For audio we have six speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Audio certification while the battery is 10,000 mAh with 44 W fast charging. We also find wireless connectivity Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. As a connector we find a single USB-C 3-2 Gen1 port for recharging and data transfer.
