The new vivo Pad6 Pro has been unveiled in China a high-end tablet at a very reasonable price, featuring a large 13.2-inch display with a brightness of up to 1,200 lumens.
This tablet replaces the vivo Pad5 Pro. The most significant change is the new high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, manufactured using a 3-nm process, a more powerful and efficient solution than the previous MediaTek chip. Its design stands out visually thanks to its metal chassis with a very slim profile and bezels that, as we can see, are minimal. In terms of multimedia features, its eight speakers stand out, making it a great choice for enjoying high-quality audio content.
Its operating system is Android 16 with the brand’s custom OriginOS 6 overlay. This OS supports multiple languages, offers OTA updates, enables multitasking, and supports the Google Play Store.
vivo Pad6 Pro Specifications
The SoC powering this new vivo Pad6 Pro is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Octa-Core, manufactured on a 3nm process. Inside this chip, we find a 2-cluster configuration: the fastest cluster features 2 Prime Cores clocking up to 4.6 GHz, and a second cluster with 6 Performance Cores reaching 3.6 GHz. The GPU is an Adreno 830, which allows us to run any demanding game without issues. For cooling, it features a large-volume vapor chamber.
The on-board RAM comes in versions with 8/12/16 GB of LPDDR5X. For storage, there are versions with 256/512 GB of high-speed UFS 4.1, expandable via microSD card up to 2 TB.
Display and other features
This vivo model features a 13.2-inch IPS display with a resolution of 3096 x 2064 pixels, a maximum brightness of 1200 nits, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a configurable refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. In terms of photography, the rear features a 13 MP sensor, while the front has an 8 MP camera.
As for audio, it features eight speakers, and the battery is a 13,000 mAh unit with 66 W fast charging. It also includes light, gravity, Hall, and color temperature sensors, a gyroscope, and wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. For connectivity, it features a USB 3.2 Gen1 port.
