Presented in China the new VIVO S20 Pro, a smartphone that shines in its photographic section and driven by a high-powered processor from Mediatek.
As cameras, we have 4 of 50 MP specifically a front and three rear, 3x telephoto, wide angle and main, which surely take the shots at a high level. Its processor is a high-end, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 with the powerful ARM Immortalis G720 iGPU, and has a result of more than 2,300,000 points in Antutu v9.
As operating system we have Android 15 with OriginOS 5 layer and The rest of its hardware is at the height of the cameras and its SoC.
VIVO S20 Pro Specifications
This new smartphone includes a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus SoC, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm by TSMC. This is a chip with an ARM Cortex-X4 processor that reaches 3.4 Ghz, 3 ARM Cortex-X4 that reach 2.85 Ghz and 4 ARM Cortex-A720 that reach up to 2.0 GHz. We also find a MediaTek NPU 790 for iA work and an ARM Immortalis G720 MC12 iGPU that allows us to play demanding titles with total fluidity. A SoC that has a high Antutu v9 score of over 2,300,000 points and is cooled by a liquid system.
The RAM memory we have soldered on board is 12/16 GB LPDDR5X that allows us to load multiple apps or navigation tabs. For storage, we have versions with 256 / 512 GB UFS 3 .1 high-speed expandable by micro SD card up to 2 TB.
Display and other features
The screen of the new VIVO is a 6.67″ AMOLED , with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, 20:9 screen ratio and a configurable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In the photographic section in the rear area we have an OIS camera with 50 MP SONY IMX921 sensor supported by a 50 MP wide angle and a 3x SONY IMX882 telephoto lens also of 50 MP. In the front area we have a camera also of 50 MP.
For audio, we have two speakers and the battery is 5500 mAh with fast charging 90W. We also have NFC, GPS, 4G/5G modem, Wi-Fi 7 wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, in-display fingerprint sensor and a USB-C 2.0 port.
Price and where to buy
- The new Android smartphone VIVO S20 Pro will be available in China in early December for about $450 at the exchange rate, although we assume that it will not take long to appear on AliExpress.
