The new VIVO S30 and S30 Pro Mini, smartphones with a colorful design and attractive specifications in its range, have been presented in China.
We highlight of these two Smartphones, the VIVO S30 model that will release the interesting Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC unveiled a few days ago. It is a processor that gives a good jump in performance and features over the previous Gen 3. With this solution we have an improvement of up to 50% in AI operations, we have Wifi 7 and BT 6.0 integrated and the connection port is a USB-C 3.1 Gen2 substantially improving the connectivity of the obsolete USB-C 2.0.
As operating system we have Android 15 with the FunTouch OS layer. As we can see we have a wide range of colors, as we see these two smartphones do not change much external design.
Specifications of the VIVO S30 and S30 Pro
Undoubtedly the star model will be the VIVO S30 Pro where the recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC will be mounted, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm by TSMC. Inside we have 1 high-performance ARM Cortex-A720 core up to 2.8 GHz, 3 other ARM Cortex-A720 cores configured at 2.4 GHz and finally 4 low-power Cortex-A520 reaching up to 1.84 GHz. It integrates an Adreno GPU that ensures 30% better performance than the previous version. We have USB-C 3.1 Gen2 connectivity with Quick Charger 5 fast charging and Wifi 7 support.
In the VIVO S30 smartphone we will find the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus SoC, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm by TSMC. This is a chip with an ARM Cortex-X4 processor that reaches 3.4 Ghz, 3 ARM Cortex-X4 that reach 2.85 Ghz and 4 ARM Cortex-A720 that reach up to 2.0 GHz. We also find a MediaTek NPU 790 for iA work and an ARM Immortalis G720 MC12 iGPU that allows us to play demanding titles with total fluidity.
Display and other features
According to the data that have been leaked before the presentation on May 29 in the Vivo S30 we will have an OLED screen with 6.67″ size, 1.5K resolution and 2.5D beveled glass. On the other hand, in the Vivo S30 Pro Mini we have an OLED screen with 6.31″ size with the same resolution, an unusual size that seems ideal for those looking for something more compact.
Among the available variants we will have 12/16 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB storage. Both will feature the same 6500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging, each with its own Qualcomm or Mediatek technology.

- The new VIVO S20 Pro will be available in China and on AliExpress from May 29. The available colors are Mint Green, Peach Pink, Lemon Yellow and Cocoa Black.
