vivo X200T: a powerful smartphone with 3 ZEISS cameras

The new and powerful vivo X200T smartphone has just been launched on the Indian market. It stands out in the photography department with its three cameras co-designed by the prestigious German optoelectronics brand ZEISS.

The circular rear module houses the three cameras: main OIS, wide-angle, and telephoto, all 50 MP and, as mentioned, endorsed by ZEISS. Its IP69-certified body is powered by a 3 nm Mediatek Dimensity 9400 processor, an upgrade from its previous version with even more computing power. It has a 6.67″ AMOLED screen and a good 6200 mAh battery with fast charging up to 100 W.

The operating system is Android 16 with the OriginOS 6 layer, which promises 5 years of system updates and 7 years of security patches.

The SoC of this new smartphone is a Mediatek Dimensity 9400, an Octa Core manufactured in3 nm. Inside, there are three clusters, the most powerful with 1 Arm Cortex-X935processor reaching 3.63 GHz. In the other two clusters, there are 3 Arm Cortex-X4 processors and 4 Arm Cortex-A720 processors. The GPU is an Arm Immortalis-G925 MC12 and includes compatibility with HDR10, HDR VIVID, and lower technologies. There is also an NPU 890 for artificial intelligence tasks and a vapor chamber cooling system to prevent high temperatures from becoming an issue.

The RAM soldered onto the board comes in versions with 12 GB LPDDR5X Ultra. For storage, there are versions with 256/512 GB UFS 4.1 high speed.

Display and other features

This ViVo has a 6.67″ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, maximum brightness of 5000 nits, HDR10 compatibility, and a configurable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In terms of photography, the rear features a circular module with a 50 MP SONY IMX921 OIS camera supported by a 50 MP JN1 wide-angle lens and a 50 MP IMX882 telephoto lens, while the front has another 50 MP camera.

The battery have 6200 mAh with 90 W fast charging and 40 W wireless charging. There is also an IR sensor/transmitter, NFC, GPS, 5G modem with eSIM, Wi-Fi 7 wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, and a single USB-C port.

Price and where to buy

  • The new vivo X200T is currently only available in India for around €550 at the current exchange rate, although it will surely be available on AliExpress soon.
