VIVO, the current leader in smartphone sales in China, continues to upgrade its smart smartphone fame, now with its new VIVO Y19s.
This is an entry-level terminal that, as lately is trendy, comes with an IP64 certified body so we have protection against dust and splashes. Inside we have an Octa Core UNISOC Tiger T612 processor, which as a reference, yields a result of about 250,000 points in Antutu v10, an adequate performance for day to day if we are not very demanding.
Its 6.8-inch screen has a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz and as an operating system we have Android 14, although with the FunchOS 14 brand layer.
VIVO Y19s Specifications
This new entry-level smartphone is powered by a UNISOC T612 processor manufactured in 12 nm. This chip is an Octa Core that includes 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 1.8 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that reaches 750 Mhz. Enough for simple games and also for demanding games in medium quality.
Soldered on the board we find 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM that can be expanded with 8 GB extra virtually using the storage memory. For storage we have 256 GB of eMMc 5.1 memory that we can expand through the micro SD card reader up to 1 TB additional.
Display and other features
This new smartphone has a 6.68-inch IPS touchscreen display, a resolution of 1608 × 720 pixels, 20:9 ratio, light sensor, brightness reaching 1000 nits and 90 Hz refresh. On the top frame of the display we have a 5 MP camera with microphone that complements the 50 MP rear with integrated LED flash that is supported with a 0.8 MP secondary.
This terminal has Wifi aC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, 4G-LTe modem with Dual SIM, GPS and a 5500 mAh battery with 15 W fast charging. In terms of connectivity we have a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port, a 3.5 mm jack for headphones and for audio we have a pair of stereo speakers. Finally, its chassis measures 165.75 × 76.1 × 8.1 mm and weighs 198 grams.
