Sales of the new VIVO Y200 have just started gradually, a new mid-range terminal that includes a curious rear LED flash with Aura effect supported by iA, which in theory improves lighting in portraits.
A smartphone in which we also like its fast charging, as it reaches up to 80 W and its body that includes IP64 certification against water and dust. For the rest, its processor is not the most cutting edge, it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685, which gives a result of 440,000 points in Antutu, enough for the average user.
The operating system is Android 14 with the Funtouch OS 14 layer that includes different improvements by iA designed by this manufacturer.
VIVO Y200 Specifications
The integrated responsible for driving this new mid-range smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC manufactured in 6 nm. An Octa Core chip with high-performance ARM Cortex-A73 processors capable of reaching 2.8 GHz, four ARM Cortex-A53 processors with a maximum speed of 1.9 GHz and an Adreno 610 GPU that reaches 614 Mhz. A processor with a power to move apps without problems and games at medium or low level.
In this VIVO we have a version with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM soldered on the board and for storage we find 128/256 GB UFS 2.2, with the option to expand it up to 1 TB thanks to the micro SD card reader included.
Display, cameras, and battery
A terminal that carries an AMOLED screen with a size of 6.7 inches (ca. 17 cm) with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh and peak brightness of 1800 nits. The front camera is 32 MP, the main rear is a 50 MP OIS, we see a 2 MP depth secondary and an LED flash with Aura effect.
We also have Wifi 5 wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, 5 in 1 GPS chip, 4G-Lte modem with Dual SIM and the battery is 5000 mAh with 80 W fast charging. On one side we find its ports, a USB Type-C 2.0 for charging and data transfer and a 3.5 mm audio jack in case we want to use wired headphones. Finally, the fingerprint reader is integrated into the screen and the audio system consists of two Hi-Res compatible speakers.
