VIVO Y300 5G, new AMOLED mid-range with 80W fast charging

Presented the new VIVO Y300 5G a mid-range terminal that will probably stay exclusively in Eastern countries, and we will not see in the West.

A terminal that highlights its good AMOLED screen with a great brightness and its 80 W fast charge that allows you to fill your battery quickly. As processor, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, a mid-range SoC with a result in Antutu of about 450,000 points. Its body has IP64 resistance certification, a weight of 188 grams and a fairly elaborate finish.

Finally, the operating system is Android 14, although we have the Funtouch OS 14 layer. A mid-range terminal, but that surprises us neither by price nor by specifications, as we note for example the lack of NFC.

Specifications of the VIVO Y300 5G

The SoC of this new terminal is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (SM4635), an Octa Core manufactured in 4nm. Inside, we have two clusters, the most powerful with 2 ARM Cortex-A78 processors that reach 2.2 Ghz and the most efficient with 6 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 1.95 Ghz. The GPU is an Adreno 613 that reaches a maximum speed of 955 Mhz.

As for RAM we have in eta offer 8 GB LPDDR4X on the board and for storage we have 128/256 GB UFS 2.2, with option to expand it up to 2 TB with the micro SD card reader.

Display and other features

The screen of this terminal is a 6.67-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 20:9 ratio, maximum brightness of 1200 Nits and refresh rate that reaches 120 Hz. As for cameras we have a 32 MP front with two microphones and on the back we find the main 50 MP with another auxiliary lens of 2 MP.

We will also have Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity, GPS and a 5G modem with Dual SIM. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh that includes fast charging up to 80 W and for connectivity we have USB-C 2.0 connector. Finally, it has 2 Hi-Res speakers and the fingerprint reader integrated into the screen.
