More and more terminals are coming out in China with reinforced body but standard smartphone appearance, such as the VIVO Y300i a terminal with 5G connectivity.
A new smartphone that comes with reinforced body against falls, water and dust, but as we say with a “normal” appearance. It stands out in its configuration, its 6500 mAh battery that will give us a great autonomy, although at the expense of its weight that rises to 205 grams.
The engine is an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor which, being manufactured in 4 nm, will provide high energy efficiency. Finally, the operating system is Android 15 with the OriginOS 5 layer that adds multiple tools supported by artificial intelligence.
Specifications of the VIVO Y300i
The SoC of this new terminal is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (SM4450), an Octa Core manufactured in 4nm by Smasung. Inside, we have two clusters, the most powerful with 2 ARM Cortex-A78 processors that reach 2.2 Ghz and the most efficient with 6 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 1.95 Ghz. The GPU is an Adreno 613 that reaches 955 MHz.
The RAM memory has options with 8/12 GB LPDDR4X although we can expand it virtually as usual. For storage we have versions with 256/512 GB UFS 2.2 that we can expand via micro SD slot up to 1 TB.
Display and other features
Its display is a 6.68-inch IPS with an HD resolution of 1608 x 720 pixels, 120 Hz refresh, maximum brightness of 600 Nits, 20.1:9 aspect ratio and includes light and proximity sensors.
For selfies, we have a 5 MP camera on the front that complements the 50 MP rear camera that is aided by a secondary 2 MP camera. We also have a fingerprint reader on the side power button, 5G connectivity with Dual SIM, Dual Band Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 4.2, infrared sensor, NFC and 5 in 1 GPS for precise positioning anywhere
As for connection interfaces, in this new phone we find a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data and recharging. The battery is 6500 mAh with 44 W fast charging and for audio we have two speakers.
