It is kicking off its international expansion with the launch outside of China of the Vivo Y31d Pro, a modest and affordable smartphone featuring 4G connectivity and a large 7,000 mAh battery.
The device features a body with military-grade certification, a 5-star SGS rating , and IP69 water and dust resistance, all weighing just 219 grams. As for the processor, it’s not top-of-the-line; it’s an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 685, which scores 490,000 points on Antutu v11, sufficient for the average user.
This VIVO model comes in versions with 6/8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM soldered onto the board, and for storage, it offers 128/256 GB of UFS 2.2, with the option to expand it up to 2 TB thanks to the included microSD card reader.
The display is a 6.75-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1250 nits. The front camera is 8 MP, while the main rear camera features a 50 MP wide-angle sensor, supported by a 2 MP depth sensor and an LED flash.
It also features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, a GPS chip, a 4G LTE modem with dual SIM, and a 7000 mAh battery with 90 W fast charging. It features a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer; the fingerprint reader is integrated into the power button, and the audio system consists of two speakers.
The operating system is Android 16 with the OriginOS 6 overlay, which includes various AI-powered enhancements and a gaming mode.
